Plié
A bend of the knees while keeping both heels on the ground.
Grand Plié
A full bending of the knees in which you go all the way down to your feet and can lift your heels.
Releve
Rising up onto the ball of your feet.

Arabesque
Standing on one foot, lift the other foot straight back and as high as you can while keeping that knees straight.

Attitude
Standing on on foot, lift the other foot in back or front and bend at a 90-degree angle while keeping the leg turned out (the knee faces outward).

Saute
To jump into the air and land back in the position in which you started.
Pirouette
One complete turn one one foot while staying on releve and the other lifted foot by the knee.
Passé
To stand on a straight leg and have the other leg bent placed with the foot at the knee of the supporting leg
